Each year Cambodia celebrates the water festival with long boats. This year about 390 boats participated in the race from the bridge in the horizon of this picture to in front of the Palace. The most amazing thing about the river you are viewing is that it changes direction each year. The reason? The Mekong River comes down during the rainy season and pushes this river upstream to Angkor Wat.
