Each year Cambodia celebrates the water festival with long boats. This year about 390 boats participated in the race from the bridge in the horizon of this picture to in front of the Palace. The most amazing thing about the river you are viewing is that it changes direction each year. The reason? The Mekong River comes down during the rainy season and pushes this river upstream to Angkor Wat.

Dr. Bob's explanation of prayer and the camel

Dr. Bob would explain prayer by telling how the camels in a caravan would kneel down in the evening, and the men would unload their burdens. In the morning, they would kneel down again, and the men would put the burdens back on. 'It's the same with prayer,' Dr. Bob said. 'We get on our knees to unload at night. And in the morning when we get on our knees again, God gives us just the load we are able to carry for that day.'"

Each of us has to ask some questions about prayer.
  1. What do I need to do in order to make prayer central to my life?
  2.  What burdens do I have to unload on God?
  3. Do I realize that God gives us just the load I am able to carry for today?
